Change the sharing code for PinToMind Go

There are two ways to change the sharing code:

  • If you want to remove access for users, you must end sharing and share the screen to the app again with a new code.
  • If you want to change the sharing code without removing users' access with the old code, you simply change the sharing code (without ending sharing).


💡TIP: In our new, improved version, PinToMind 3, there is a new option to share privately with email invitation. This gives control over who has access to the content, at any time.


To end sharing and remove access for all subscribers, and share again, do the following:

  1. Go to the Screens menu option.
  2. Click on the "📱sharing code" for PinToMind Go (blue text).
  3. On the next page, select "stop sharing"
  4. Select "Start sharing" again.
  5. Use the code that the system provides, or enter your own code. If the system does not accept the code you enter, this sharing code is already in use.

You can now inform those who should continue to have access to this info screen in the mobile app, about first (❗️) deleting the old sharing code, and then entering the new sharing code in PinToMind Go.


To change the sharing code but keep those who already subscribe to the previous code, do this:

  1. Go to the Screens menu option.
  2. Click on the "📱sharing code" for PinToMind Go (blue text).
  3. On the next page, enter a new sharing code in the sharing code field. If the system does not accept the code you enter, this sharing code is already in use.
  4. Select "Change code".

Now new users will be able to use the new code, while the others will still have access with the old code.




If you experience problems receiving push notifications after the sharing code has changed, you can do the following:

  1. First, remove the screen from the mobile app, PinToMind Go, on mobile or tablet
  2. End the mobile app (do not just close it) and open it again
  3. Add a new sharing code
  4. End the mobile app (do not just close it) and open it again
