Move a screen from one account to another
It happens that one has had several screens on one account, and would like to separate them to different accounts, so that each location gets its own account, for instance.
If you are in this kind of situation, you should do the following:
- Create a new account for each location here: https://pintomind.com/signup/ (it is totally fine to create a new account with the same e-mail-address that is already registered in the system, you just have to enter your password).
- Create the screens you want on your new account, under "Menu" -> "Screens".
- Send user-invitations to the ones who are going to manage screens and content on this account, under "Menu" -> "Users".
- Add the content you want displayed on the screens. For news, weather forecast and the like, it is quickly done to create new posts. For longer text-posts, you can manually copy the content from your former account, and paste this into a new post on the new account. Go between the accounts under "Menu" -> "Select account" (provided that you are registered with the same username on both accounts).
- When the screens on the new account are ready with the content you want to display, you need to start a new screen display on the physical screen. Contact us at support@pintomind.com with information about what kind of physical device it is, and we can help you with instructions on how to start anew on your type of equipment.
- Downgrade the account which the screen came from, if applicable. Information about changes in the account's subscription can be found here.
- Activate the new account at any time during the trial period.
