Portrait or landscape mode on screen ⤴️
Portrait screens are great if you often need to display things like posters or menus, or if you do not have the space to mount a screen in landscape mode.
In order for the screen to be displayed in portrait mode, you first need to make settings for this on the physical screen. This feature is available on most newer screens, including Samsung SSSP and Chrome devices.
The display adjusts automatically
When a screen display is started on a screen (hardware) with the format of vertical screens, the content will adjust itself for this. The main area and the footer will adjust in size, and if there is a sidebar, it will be removed.
Preview screen in portrait or landscape
The screen can be displayed on screens in both portrait and landscape mode, so you can decide if you want to see a screen as portrait or landscape when you preview it.
Select "Preview screen" and in the top of the preview you can decide if you want to preview in portrait or landscape mode.
Customize standard screen preview format
Under menu item "Screens" -> "Settings" for the screen, you can set the preview format for each screen. Choose portrait or landscape, and 16:9, 21:9 or customize the preview to your own screen size by pressing “Custom” and entering size.
The choices you make on each screen are reflected in the list of screens; and when previewing posts and screens.
Here you will find the list of your screens, and here you will find information on how to start the screen display.
