My screen is OFFLINE - what do I do? 😨

ℹ️ There can be several reasons for a screen to have gone "offline". This can be due to power outages, changes in the local network, firewall, etc.

Most of the time the problem will be solved by a simple  restart of the physical screen and possibly of the connected player (PC, Ugoos, Chrome-device etc.) if you use this.

🔌 Try turning your screen off and on, or pull the plug out and put it back in again.

If a restart of the physical screen and any connected device does not work, you can check the following:

  • Check that the physical screen is on.
  • Check if the screen is connected to internet. You could for instance visit another open webpage to verify this.
  • Check if there have been changes in the local network (firewall etc.). If you need to open firewall access, find more info here.
  • Check that the screen is set up with the correct url (address) from PinToMind. More info here.
  • Check if the physical screen needs updating of e.g. firmware. Here is a guide for updating firmware on newer Samsung SSSP and webOS (LG).
  • If you are using PinToMind Player for Windows, you can try pressing "CTRL + R" on your keyboard to refresh the content. If you are displaying in a browser on Windows, you can try pressing F5 to update the browser.
